Branding, Identity and other communication collaterals for H II H, a contemporary design decor and artefacts brand. HIIH is a design-led, artisan-made decor brand founded by interior designer Reshma Chhabria Kumar. When we met to understand her line of products for the identity, it was clear at once, the identity needed to embody the simplicity and distinct-ness of the range of products. Living between Mumbai and Tokyo, these products are a hybrid of Reshmas experiences in India, and her tryst with Japanese culture. Taking a cue from Reshmas mood board, the identity has influences of Japanese seals and letterforms, which were used to secure important  envelopes, and sign artwork to prove authenticity. The double 'I' resembles devanagari, with the double 'poornaviraams', similar to punctuation used in Sanskrit.
