PRAYA VILLAS
Living in Mumbai that’s brimming with newer properties, each one vying to make a dramatically different experience with a minor detail, we were thirsty for a different kind of project. A property with soul. Along came Neesha and Fritz D’Silva bearing a brief that was just what our tired eyes were looking for.
Praya Villas is a collection of eclectic stand-alone serviced homes, right on the Morjim beach in the resort state of Goa. Carefully designed for utmost privacy, quiet, and put together with a host of on-premise facilities and curios, these aren’t your regular cookie-cutter homes. While being very eco-sensitive, this is perhaps one of the last few opportunities to have a home a stones throw from the beach. Additionally, the Morjim beach is an ecological site where turtles nest - it’s protected by the government as well. Being so unique, we had to reimagine how to brand this precious luxury property, that’s so much more than just the usual lifestyle frills that most real estate developments promise.
Being Art Enthusiasts, Neesha and Fritz hand picked the artefacts and fixtures that you see from various places.

Our moodboard for the property - Inspired by the interiors, we put together a visual collage that encapsulates the mood of the spaces. This stage helped us identify some of the salient features than make this villa property distinct - The turtle nesting site, foliage, use of a variety of tiles, the fact that is smack bang on the beach, along with the tranquility that the quiet locations lends it, represented by the large amount of white space.

We tinkered with the forms, fonts and varying combinations of elements, to finally settle on the identity that was simple enough, yet detailed to represent the charm of the property appropriately.
Being such a storied collection of spaces, we decided the identity should not be static either. The Final Logo and it’s various lock-ups.
EXTENSIONS OF THE IDENTITY
And since the location was a big USP for the property, being remote yet not too far away from restaurants, bars and other beaches, we created a beautiful art map to represent the surrounding points of interest to a customer who may be considering this as a vacation home.
